Ear Candle FAQs

When should I use Ear Candles?

That's like asking when you should eat or sleep?  Ear candles encourage the relaxation of the body’s subtle energy field allowing the body to relax and  to experience a heightened sense of well-being.

Ear candles will not necessarily have the same effect on everyone; however, if you want to help your body heal itself naturally, you may want to incorporate ear candles into your life.  Ear candles come in handy when you find your body stressed whether you have a cold, sinus congestion, or feel overwhelmed. While ear candles will not solve these problems, they help you relax which in turn help your body to heal itself.

Are Ear Candles Safe?

It depends on who you ask. Some government agencies would like you to believe that they are dangerous. If made properly and used appropriately, they are extremely safe. That is why it's important to have a candle made with a no-drip wax and a safety tip so the wax can't drip inside the ear. That would be a big problem. That's why I have chosen to partner with Harmony's Candles.

Ear Candles Remove Wax

Ear candles DO NOT remove wax. While many claim they do, they don't. If you need to remove excess wax, use a ear wax remover like the Kyrosol Ear Wax Removal Kit.

Food Grade or Beeswax?

That is a personal preference. If you're allergic to bees, stick with the food grade wax. If you like beeswax, then try these out. Both types of wax are high quality and handcrafted to give you the safest and most relaxing ear candling experience.

Most of the ear candles come in both food grade wax and beeswax. Candles that only come in one will be clearly labeled as such.

Scented or Unscented?

That depends. Do you like fragrances? If you prefer scents, then pick an ear candle with an essential oil(s) that you like. Many clients enjoy Lavender Ear Candles and the Eucalyptus, Lavender, & Peppermint Ear Candles. There are purists though who rather go with unscented candles so go with what speaks to you right now.
